| Home > Citizenship Troubles > Testimonials > B. Saunders War Bride Daughter I am the daughter of a war bride and we (Mother, brother and I) came over in 1946. Back in the 1970's my Mother and I had to go to immigration and got proof of citizenship without too much difficulty but frustrating because we assumed we were Canadian. When my bother went to immigration somewhere in B.C. he had to become a citizen - go to citizenship court etc.... We have no problem getting passports etc. now but I feel we should get something to say we were always Canadian. Thanks B.Saunders, May 2, 2005 Other things you can do RIGHT NOW!
